| Educational Qualification | ||||
| • (1) Passed Intermediate / 10+2 With Physics, Chemistry, biology, and English • (2) Must have passed a laboratory technician diploma course or a bachelor of medical laboratory technology (BMLT) course from an institution recognized by the central government, the Bihar government, or any other state government along with the relevant certificate. • Specialist Medical Officer (SMO): (1) A candidate must possess an MBBS degree and a postgraduate degree/diploma (or equivalent qualification) in a related field/trade from a recognized Indian university approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or the National Medical Commission (NMC) as specified under the Bihar and Odisha Medical Act 1916. If the degree is obtained from a foreign university, the candidate must have completed a 4-year MBBS course along with a 1-year rotating internship and have passed the FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination) recognized by the MCI. Additionally, for postgraduate qualifications (MD/MS/DM/MCH) that require a rotating internship, if the internship is completed in the same year and the degree is by the MCI, the candidate will be considered eligible for the position of dermatologist. (2) Mandatory Experience: The candidate must have completed a 12-month compulsory rotating internship from an institution recognized by the Medical Council of India, and permanent registration with the Medical Council is mandatory regardless of the reason. | ||||
